Matatus without real insurance

Standard assurance has been in the new lately having liquidity problems. Auctioneers have already swept their offices, and there are people whose cars are being held by garages because the company can't / won't pay.
If itcollapses, and they have about 60% of the psv market will it mean that those matatus will be uninsured and on the road coz they have 'legit' insurance stickers? what if they bash your car,who will pay?

I dont know what it is with Insurance companies and Matatu guys....the ones that usually go for the PSV business almost always get in the red...thorny bed fellows,these are.
Now with these new stories about Standard Assurance,I would REALLY give mats a distance while driving,especially no.s 23 for Westy and no.s 9!
OK i think as long as u have your own insuarance ie different from stardand assurance u will have to demand compesation its upto them to know how to deal with that i dont think the burden should be on any one with geniune insuarance
